OFDC believes every child deserves the right to an education.

For many children in the developing world, especially for girls, school is only a dream simply because their families cannot afford the cost of a mandatory school uniform and school supplies. Girls are often forced into child marriages and are the last to be allowed to attend school.

Your OFDC donation pays school fees and purchases items necessary for a child to attend school.

In Kenya's Masai Mara, children who do go to school must walk very far, with only a single bowl of milk to last them through the school day.

On the path to and from school, children contend with the threat of predators, most notably the hyena. However, the children are eager to learn, and are more than willing to endure these obstacles.
